For the second time the WhichBingo Awards were announced in a special virtual event. The host was our very own social media presenter Charlie Shakespeare and we took the filming home to an actual bingo hall.
It wasn’t just any old bingo hall, mind you. It was the Buzz Bingo venue in Tooting, South London, which is classed as one of the most beautiful in the UK. It has Art-Deco inspired interiors and is said to look a lot like a Russian Orthodox church, with its high ceilings and many arches.
The virtual ceremony was broadcast to the (bingo) nation on 12th August and no-one outside of the WhichBingo offices knew the winners before the broadcast time, meaning the results were a surprise to everyone. The trophies were shipped after the event this year and the ‘thank you’ videos filmed and posted online later.

The number of votes continues to stagger and amaze and shows what a wonderful job the brands are doing entertaining their customers and how much the hard work is appreciated.
